I'll try answering from a strictly biblical perspective. Ministers are mentioned as those that give to or promote the cause of Christ. In Hebrews ch 1, it speaks of angels being ministering spirits to the heirs of salvation. Priests offer sacrifices- by standing in the gap between God and man. Aaron in the OT and Jesus in Hebrew ch 9 &10 are examples. There duties are usually intercession. Pastor is a shepard. They have a calling and vision to lead the sheep through the pitfalls of life. Jesus said "I am the good shepard- that gives his life for the sheep. The hireling flees when trouble comes because he does not care for the sheep". Hope that helps. In the religious world that could mean endless definitions- who cares.

A priest is ordained by a bishop who can trace his authority back to the Christ and the Aspotles. Becoming a priest is actually a sacrament that involves the laying on of hands. The priest receives his power from the bishop who in turn received his power from apostolic succession.
A minister is simply a man chosen to lead a Protestant congregation. His authority comes from the people who chose him, but his authority has no divine backing.

The word translated in the Bible as "minister" means one who serves others. A Pastor is a man who had been given the responsibility of being the "Shepherd" of his congregation, feeding them the word of God and keeping them safe from wolves in sheep's clothing. A priest is an office that comes from the OT covenant of the law where a priest would offer up sacrifices to God for the people. The priest was the mediator between God and men. That office was done away with after Jesus offered Himself up as an eternal sacrifice. At least it was supposed to have been done away with, but as the church got further and further away from the days of Jesus and the Apostles men started to revert to Old Testament beliefs and sought to re-institute a man made barrier between individual believers and God.
1 Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
