surely a perfect being would have experience to relate to ?
how can God be perfect if God has not experienced things in a physical sense ?
does this mean God was once physical ?
does this mean God is not perfect ?
does this mean we are more perfect than God ?
any thoughts ?
( and hey I believe in God but I can still question right ? )

"God is within man and man is within God". This is the great mystery we have come here to understand! When man comes to an understanding of this mystery, in the Sufi tradition he is refered to as an "Insan Kamil", a perfected human being. Not comparable to God, but a perfected human being. A perfected human being feels everyones hunger as his own, feels everyones sorrow as his own, feels everyones suffering as his own, feels everyones joy as his own. When God is perceived as perfect within mans heart then man is perceived as perfect within Gods heart, it's a sharing process. This is sometimes called self-realization. It's like looking into a mirror, and seeing the truth as the truth. If one wants to know whether God once had physical form then one must ask God to provide that answer! If one wants to know if man is more perfect than God, then one must ask God to provide that answer. If one wants to know if God is perfect, one has to realize their own faults and eliminate them, and no longer find fault with others, and then the answer to whether God is perfect will be known. God experiences things through man because he dwells within the heart of man. God has placed a ray of light in man that we call the soul. The soul cannot be scientifically measured, but the development of the soul can be observed in man through mans actions and qualities towards his fellow man.
Yes you can still question, and I know that one day all your questions will be answered......
We are all doing "Hearts Work", were all in this together, may all your years be fruitful!

I can't believe their is such a thing as a "perfect being". If where all created in the image of God and God was perfect at the time where have we gone wrong?
Or maybe God has existed since the dawn of time become the "perfect being" and then created us in his image. maybe where all just playing catch up in a spiritual and evolutionary sense.
Either way if evolution in a spiritual sense is never ending (which if you think about it, must be) how can the state of "perfect being" be attained?
lost? good!

God manifested Himself in human form as Jesus of Nazareth, thus experiencing things in a physical sense,as you put it. Since the pre-Christian Jehovah is arguably unduly harsh toward His creations,we may presume His experience of our reality had a beneficial effect on His relationship to His creations.

God has experienced the physical in the form of Jesus...I'm sure you will have more answers that will explain it all~~Shalom~~
Edit: God created Adam and Eve in His image, therefore they were perfect beings...in the beginning they were a perfect example of how we were meant to be...they experienced love, joy, and so on...only when they disobeyed God they fell short of His glory and glorious plan..so these two were perfect beings...hope some of the answers are of help to you...

the goddess dose experience things ,but in Hinduism it is said she is not touched by them ,like air filles a room but dose not touch it.
maybe she was physical ,zillions of eons ago, and gave up phisical form , conciquently she may have lost interest in controlling the universes.[ maybe it running on automatic], and the controller is a sleep at the switch.
this being has [infinite intelligence] and i have been wondering lately[last few days],why dose a [infinite being] create totally ignorant ,sub beings, that will never reach her intelligence level?
i see her like a tree.every spring a tree, dumps its tree seeds on the ground by the millions.some get eaten some get choped up by the lawn mower, some die. and ----1 to 2 become trees.
maybe god will die some day and one of her seeds, will be smart enough to be the new god. and take over were she left off.
i hope it is not me I'm to stupid.

the goddess is not perfect, but is a simplistic ,well oiled machine.like on star trek were they run across a huge space amoeba.it eats it ,acts but it is a simple life form but very smart one.
we are not more perfect than a zillion year old being, but seeming mistakes ,from our prospective, may not be mistakes from her [expanded prospective].
its like playing chess, a million move ahead of your opponent.it may seem like a mistake now but in a billion years it ,may have been the [right choice]

The Supreme Being has experienced everything because S/he has created everything. This is why Hinduism is all inclusive...if you want to believe in Jesus, that's great, as long as you know Jesus is a part of the SB, as is Mohammed, Buddha, Lord Ganesh, Durga Ma and dare I say it, even George W Bush....

perfectness could be achieved throgh wisdom.in the name of wisdom , intellect is supreme in human .the God is the intellect of all intellects .hence the most perfact man of any kind is the God's lower form but the God is much more beyond this can not be imaginable.because He not only create humans but also so many other intelligent species.

I tend to agree about how can anyone be perfect without experiencing all that is, which is why I still think that we are all a part of the Divine and through all of us everything is experienced from every angle.

God is a spirit. Being is "conscious, mortal existence; life". God never existed on a mortal platform until Jesus came and died for us. God does not need things to relate to. He's perfect in all ways that out human minds cannot comprehend his actions and thoughts in our 6lb brain.
