With all the different religions and different spiritual beings, are just a select few right? What happens to those that grew up in different religions, cultures, regions, etc. Are they all wrong and you are right? What makes your religion superior to others?
Some cultures and regions have lack of info and knowledge, are they condemned to hell for lack of knowledge or not knowing better? Just like languages or the color of one's skin, how can you be prejudice of ones religion and still be morally right?

Who cares about what a person or group of people say, are you worshiping people or God. Faith and believes are a personal matter, and with prayer and The Word and an accepting heart you will find your Truth. I listen to different believes, but don't accept them unless I find them true through Bible Study and Prayer.
Religion in itself is a way to control people, and I for one stay away from any denomination with "rules". Most peole I know do to. It just makes sense.

No I don't think that one religion in general is wrong. It is not my place to judge anybody however hard that task is. Judging is one of the worst things I think a Christian (I mean follower of God, believer in His Word) can do. I remember how awfull that feels, and uncomfortable. So no, I don't say I am in the right religion b/c I am not in one. I congregate with a non denominational group and enjoy good basic messages every week without ridicule or being told what to believe.

Another note, it is hard to seperate religion and culture etc. Lots of "gods" were invented by men trying to explain scientific happenings of the world at their time. Culture and tradition and luck are closely related too, lots of things, ie a harvest festival, are surrounded by an event wanted to be blessed. So there are ways to look at facts, we all know false documents and he say she say exists but evidence and a steady idea over time is staring all of us in the face. It is selfish and greedy to ignore this much.

So my "religion" is

Good Day and God Bless you with your search for Him!

Have you ever heard of Sylvia Brown? She is a psychic and has written many books, appears on the Montel Williams show most Wednesdays and has her own religion. I sort of have the same beliefs as she does and that is that god loves everyone and it does not matter what religion you believe in, you will still go to heaven or have an afterlife. Apparently Sylvia believes that if you commited something very terrible, you don't go to heaven, you go through what she calls the left door and right back into being born and living another life here on earth. Apparently when you get to the afterlife, you choose if you want to be born and come down to learn more in this life or you can stay up in Heaven if you so choose. (Heaven is pretty much on the same plane as we are right now, just a little bit higher and thats why when people see ghosts, they appear to be floating) You should really pick up one of her books. She has one about the afterlife you may find very helpful and interesting. I know I did. It really explains what happens after you die and how she knows all this etc. It may not be everyones opinion but it is what I believe to be true.

I grew up in a Methidest family. To this day I am not methidest. I have my own views on everything weather it be the Bible or Jesus or how the earth was created. I do however believe that there is at least one God who watches over all. And I also believe that everything I do in life has a purpose including my views on religion. I mean what I believe in is not going to be what the next person believes in. So I look at it this way....Everyone is welcome to see things as they wish to see them but when I die I believe God will show me the truth about how the world was created and what happened and he will forgive me for my beliefs if they are wrong and He will show me the right way.

To each there own. I would never want anyone to try and tell me different. But at the same time I will never try and convince someone that what they believe in is wrong. I have research many different religions and my beliefs branch back to Native Amerian belief which are similar to Wiccan beliefs today.

I once told a very close friend of mine that I believed in 2 Gods and he told me that he could never speak to me again because I must worship the devil. And I said do you understand anything about my religion? And his reply was no but if you believe in 2 Gods you are not someone I want to talk to.

My basic idea for my reliegion is I believe that there is a God and a Goddess. God rules of the heaven and the Goddess rules of the earth. Sort of like your modern day God and Mother nature. Simply put.

Believe what you want and don't let other turn you away from it. It is not there life. Everyone should have something they can believe in.

No, but the belief systems of most religions include some form of an after-life, implying that most likely there's some truth to that expectation.
I believe in the grace of God and that human intelligence has great limitations once we get past the empyrical. But even there, I think it takes more blind faith to believe in science than in God.
Let's face it, everyone can't be prosperous, rich or healthy, or even American, which is the reason why I wonder what makes people think that everybody, regardless, should enter God's Kingdom. In my belief system, named Historical Christianity (which is also very scientifically probable) it is through faith in Jesus Christ alone that anyone will enter God's Heaven.
Blessings to you and all. And a Blessed destiny.

I have heard that some people and scientists actually believe that when we die that that's it. We just basically spiritually vaporize or something of a similar nature. If that's what they choose to believe than maybe that's their kind of heaven or hell. I could understand that in this world and universe of various possibilities that some may end up in the recycling bin also. Supposedly there is more than one heaven so, there must be some type of segregation there also. Someone has already said that death is retirement. I guess it's how you look at it.

dze is absolutely right. We all have an afterlife because our soul is eternal. What you believe doesn't determine if you have that or not. What you believe determines where you'll spend eternity. If your belief is in the risen Son of God, Jesus, that He died for your sins, & rose from the grave victorious over death, hell, & the grave, then your eternity will be with God. Otherwise, I hate to tell you that you'll burn forever in a fiery hell with the devil. If you believe the Bible, it's all explained in there. Start with the Gospel of John for your answers. Your future destination isn't determined by any church membership, culture, knowledge, religion, etc. It's determined by a personal relationship with Jesus or lack thereof.

Many people believe than you will be 'saved' as long as you believe in a superior being like God, Allah, Buddah, etc.I think otherwise because religon is what guides us to what is wrong and right. All religons have different beliefs and teachings, meaning different ways of life. And being in the wrong one will not direct you the correct path. If you have doubts of your religon and you don't completely understand its teachings then it is not the true religon.

No, everyone will have an afterlife. If you want to spend it in the presence of God where there is fullness of joy and at whose right hand are pleasures forevermore you have to believe that God loved you so much that He sent his son Jesus to pay your sin debt by dying a substitutionary death on the cross for you.

There are only two destinations after death. One is into the presence of God and one is hell. Jesus said there was no way to the Father, but through Him.

Not believing the claim of Jesus Christ will not negate that it is the absolute truth. Those who reject Jesus will be lost forever.

Excuse my blunt speaking...I do not mean to offend. Time is short and we need to be clear about this most serious choice.

Anyone who thinks or says that their way to the afterlife is the only way is an intolerant ignorant human being.

All religions and all spiritual teachings are basically describing the same thing.
