Looking for Information On Chelsea England World War II History?

My grandfather died in Chelsea England in either 1944 or 1945. The American Soldiers had a building used for office type work which was connected to a 3 level apartment complex. This was bombed and my grandfather died, Looking for any leads or ideals on how I can obtain any information. Thank you in advance.

If it was during those two years it was likely to be a V1 or V2 weapon rather than a bombing raid by the Luftwaffe. There may be websites that pinpoint the date and location of each explosion
