Because I know I am descended from my mother, her mother and so on for all eternity, whether or not that stretches back to little organisms in the soup of evolution or otherwise. BUT...at some point....however we began, life/time began to exist where there was none before. Also, I believe that time is relative, as a smart human once said, and that NOW is the only real moment that exists. Thus, the passing and changing forms of matter beg the eternal question, "Why??"

We know that God is real because He has revealed Himself to us in three ways: in creation, in His Word, and in His Son, Jesus Christ.

The most basic proof of God’s existence is simply what He has made. “For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead; so that [unbelievers] are without excuse” (Romans 1:20). “The heavens declare the glory of God / And the firmament sheweth His handiwork” (Psalm 19:1).

If I found a wristwatch in the middle of a field, I would not assume that it just “appeared” out of nowhere or that it had always existed. Based on the watch’s design, I would assume it had a designer. But I see far greater design and precision in the world around us. Our measurement of time is not based on wristwatches, but on God’s handiwork—the regular rotation of the earth (and the radioactive properties of the cesium-133 atom). The universe displays great design, and this argues for a Great Designer.

If I found an encoded message, I would seek out a cryptographer to help break the code. My assumption would be that there is an intelligent sender of the message, someone who created the code. How complex is the DNA “code” that we carry in every cell of our bodies? Does not the complexity and purpose of DNA argue for an Intelligent Writer of the code?

because he is the best. He's like a friend that u cant never have. Of course you cant go through some hard times and doubt and question about the existence of God, but when u look back and remember all those good moments, you kno that he was there for u

I believe in Him because He is my life..Some family and friends have turned away when I was in the need, they turned away also when I excepted Jesus into ny life..When I did that I closed the door to the world and left it closed, I walked away into a better life. God has always been there for me, in time of need, in time of Joy and laughter, and in the time of comfort, He was there to hold me when I was ready to give up He was there to collect my tears, He has always provided for me to where I was without.. He has given me more than anyone person or any one thing of this world..That's just some of the reasons why I believe in God..God Bless

I believe in God because He came into my life while I was still nothing and opened my eyes and heart to a whole new world. After that I just couldn't imagine a life without Him.

Because it is part of my Native American heritage to believe in a Creator who expects us to live in harmony with all his creations.

The Middle Eastern God? How could a God be that egotistical and cruel?

Why do you not believe in God?

Because I totally refuse to believe in all that," we come from apes," nonsense. Who was the genius that came up with that theory anyway? And how would Moses part the red sea, or Jonah get saved by the great fish, or create man without God. He is the one that gave us life and gives us hope.
