That being said there is a guru who believes you can lengthen your tongue (under his supervision) by kneading and massaging the tongue with a combination of milk, butter, salt, and turmeric powder. Please note, it also involves cutting. The guru's name is Khechari Mudra.

Personally, if a long tongue means that much to you, spring for surgery with a doctor rather than with a self proclaimed guru.

a non surgical option might be having it stitched up under local anesthesia. It may not be an option anymore since you've waited so long. If the skin has already healed, the only way to put it back together would be some sort of medical procedure.
