Depends on where you and the seventeen year old live. In texas, no seventeen is the age a person can legally consent to having sex and that is the age that the statutes on statutory restrictions end for the younger party. However, a complaint for harassment or disorderly conduct could appy in this situation

Maybe it's like writing an NSF check. If they choose to prosecute it, the defendant has the burden of proof, to prove that it was unintentional, because the check itself is already proof that it was written. Most NSF checks aren't treated seriously, as many are made accidentally, but I would assume that sending pornography to a minor would be treated more seriously. This is in Canada, by the way.

no, no jail time. cant get in trouble for trash talking unless your a online preditor. then yeah you can. only if the converstaion was sexual. but if your inssulting the guy, nope. you can get away scott free. but like i said only if your words were sexual than yes. and when you said stuff what you mean by stuff? you sending naked piks of yourself online or what? that you can get busted for. sorry. do not pass go, do not collect 200 dollars
