i was lifting weights and running on the same days 3x a week. But now i'm thinking that I should lift on monday, wednesday, and friday. Then run on tuesday and thursday. Is that a good idea?

If so, does it matter how much I run or how fast/intense?
I am working on gaining the muscle on those 3 days. So, I don't want to run to the point where i'm using up my muscles mass.

Or do you think it is a bad idea to work out 5 days a week??

Only work out 3X a week and no running.. Walk or use stationary cycle or Bicycle ....... Running is not necessary and is hard on the joints and tendons and knees, feet, ankles......etc...Physical Fitness Trainer............

The less running u do, the more muscle mass u will gain, but u will also gain a bit more fat.

No it's not a bad idea, its a great plan:]] keep it up
your gonna see results.

and i think you should run as much as you can and as fast as you can
alwayss thought try to aim at LEAST a mile& a half<3
