If you sent the 8379 with your return the IRS states Because the IRS will process your allocation request before an offset occurs, filing Form 8379 with your original return may take 11 to 14 weeks from the date of filing to process your return.

If you submitted it after filing your return was submitted

Allow at least 8 weeks for IRS to process your allocation request. We will compute the injured spouse's share of the joint return for you. If you lived in a community property state during the tax year, we will divide the joint refund based upon state law

You can reach the accounts area of the IRS at 1-800-829-0922 to bypass the 1-800-829-1040 line which handles both tax law and accounts issues

I don't know how long it takes. If the "Where's My Refund?" link doesn't help, 1-800-TAX-1040 (1-800-829-1040) is the main number for the IRS.
