In British, it is "From CAN to CAN'T", but in America the two words, can and can't, sound identical. It would not be "Can't to can't" I don't think.
Clarence T was probably saying the can to can't version. Kin is the word to describe those people who are related to us - kin. As in "kith and kin"

The phrase is "from kin to caint" meaning as my grandad used to answer when asked what hours he worked. From when he kin see the work(sun-up) til he caint(sun down)
