Well for one thing it would not be salvific if I was a follower of Moses as he was not the Savior,Peter too was not the Savior but Christ`s Apostle who passed on the teachings of Christ, and so I do not follow Peter either,Jesus Christ is the one and only Savior so I follow Him,and this is why I call myself a Christian.

because they too followed God/Christ. God chose them as figures to offer temtimony and a life journey of following God's Word.
