If there are any `signs` for Armageddon, rapture, second comings etc, I fully expect our local council will display them on the village notice board. I would hate to nip over the pub for a pint, and miss the second coming, or any major superstitious event featuring Angels, golden chariots, fire, thunderbolts, Gods etc. I think it wise for EVERYONE to carry a camera to record such things.

The signs are for the end of time, not for his return. Jesus has never left us and the Kingdom of Heaven has been here on earth since Jesus declared it.
Those who will see him coming in his Kingdom are dead, they are gather together under the Throne of God, waiting to be judged. Waiting for the rest to be killed or die as they were..
The kingdom of heaven has always been with us, but many can not see it, you must forget everything you ever knew about God and learn it all again according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, ONLY

In touching bases with the kingdom of God within you, is like the FLOOD. Water came from within the earth and upon the earth. And that is called the Baptism of the Holy Ghost, which, comes with signs.

“Tell us, When will these things be, and what will be the sign of your presence and of the conclusion of the system of things?” (Matt. 24:3) Note now Jesus’ reply to this inquiry. After pointing out that many would come and falsely claim to be the returned Lord and unduly excite people about the imminence of the end of the system of things, he declared: “Furthermore, when you hear of wars and disorders, do not be terrified. For these things must occur first, but the end does not occur immediately.” (Luke 21:9) This, then, is an intimation that a considerable period must elapse before the sign of his second presence would be observed.
Luke 21:10-11................Then he went on to say to them: “Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom; and there will be great earthquakes, and in one place after another pestilences and food shortages; and there will be fearful sights and from heaven great signs.

Matthew 24 Jesus warns us about those who come as false christs, and to be aware of them, but He also tells us what the world will be like during those times....and we have no idea when He will come back, He is clear on that---for it will be like a thief in the night.
But if you read Matthew 24, Jesus tells us what is going to happen, and how we need to be aware of false prophets--false prophets are a sign! There are many today too! Just knowing that there is so much deceiving going on, goes to show just how much more true God's word is. We are to keep our eyes on Jesus, and of course anticipate His return, but we need not ask for a sign, why should we? We should ALWAYS be ready to meet our Lord and Savior!

Jesus himself gave a very interesting perception into what the dominion of God is at the same time as 2 disciples of John the Baptist got here to him with a message from John. They requested "Are you the visual allure One, or might want to we seem for yet another" (Matthew 11:3). John became waiting for God's promised King who ought to fix Israel (Amos 9:11) and bless each and each and every of the households of the earth (Genesis 12:3). Jesus' reply became extremely ordinary and sparkling. "bypass and tell John the belongings you hear and word: The blind receive their sight and the lame walk. The lepers are cleansed and the deaf hear. The lifeless are raised up and the undesirable have the gospel preached to them" (Matthew 11:4 - 5). John became to understand the dominion of God by using its fruit (Matthew 7:17). a similar is real immediately. The fruit of the dominion is healing, deliverance and repentance. The fruit of the dominion of God is the in demand manifestations of the destiny reward for all mankind at the same time as the dominion of God is known in the earth. As Paul so rightly factors out "you've been sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise who's the assure of our inheritance until eventually the redemption of the bought possession" (Ephesians a million:13 - 14). The Baptism of the Spirit, His presents and fruit are a effective fore flavor, both for us and entire of humanity, of the completed blessing of the dominion of God at the same time as that's known in the time of each and every of the earth (Daniel 2:24 - 40 4).

Personally, I'm waiting for Jesus to return. There are signs that we are called to watch for, though it is true that no one knows the day or the hour. The kingdom of God is within us, true, but only if you ask it to be. "Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven."

How do you explain this passage?
"how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at the first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard,
God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will."
Hebrews 2:3,4
and this one:
"And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord worked with them, and confirmed the word by the signs that followed. "
(Mark 16:20)
or Paul's statement concerning himself:
"I have become foolish; you yourselves compelled me Actually I should have been commended by you, for in no respect was I inferior to the most eminent apostles, even though I am a nobody.
The signs of a true apostle were performed among you with all perseverance, by signs and wonders and miracles."
(II Corinthians 12:11,12)
How can you say then that the Kingdom of God NEVER comes with signs???

Those scriptures do not say there is anything wrong with signs. Christians are taught not to FOLLOW after the signs but to keep their eyes on Jesus...It does say the Jews require a sign...And of course he was speaking to the Pharisees here, where the signs were right in front of them and they could not recognize him...Just as it is today.

probably because in revelations there are many signs given to alert people to the end that is the beginning.
personally i only look for signs of God's love in my life.... wonderful times with family & friends, the changing of the seasons - watching spring come forth in it' glory, the beauty of the autumn colors, the magesty of snow or the sound of the ocean.....
i don't live my life waiting for a sign.... i know God is with me and I try to stay with Him at all turns.
