I went in and got all drugged up after that I dont remember anything between that and when I was in the recovery room. While coming down off the drugs I spent most of my time flirting with the nurses. lol With all the nifty painkillers they gave me I think I may have been awake for maybe a total of ten minutes the rest of that week.

Bad, I went in for a c-section and only half of my body was numb so I could feel the DR. starting to cut into my stomach. It was horrible. They had trouble doing the needle in my back and I was poked 9 times. That was my last child needless to say. It was horrible and I haven't been to that hospital since. I looked at my husband's face and it was white and I thought he was going to get sick after it happened. Then they gave me some powerful drugs and my DR. felt really bad.

It is very cold and bright, but you don't experience it for very long usually. Most people have general anaesthesia for surgical procedures. I have had local for some knee surgies and I got to watch and my doctor explained what he was doing. It was pretty cool.
