Oh, you must be referring to the Professing christians who wear the christian label, talk the talk and do not walk the walk. These are the lukewarm christians that Jesus refers to in Revelation when the last church is being discussed, the Laodocean church. This is the church age we now live in. The lukewarmers who straddle the fence, who do not choose which side of the fence to be on. The hot, (side of Jesus), or the cold, (side of the world ruled by satan) side. Please do not confuse professing christians with true christians who have faith in Christ and do take a stand for truth and who will inherit the Kingdom of God in Heaven. The Lord said in His Word that we must choose (take a stand) sides, choose who will master our lives, Jesus or satan. God bless.

Never come across any Christians who have told others its OK to smoke dope and get drunk,.......Drink occasionally yes but dope never heard that one.

Its our new plan to convert everyone. We are going to get you all drunk and then baptize you... You believe that and I have some other things I will sell you too.
Christians cannot tell you its okay to do something illegal, they are not in charge of making laws. It is not illegal to drink occasionally if you are of age.
As far as I know, weed is not addressed as a Christian issue and people are said to have drank wine and beer in Bible times. The only thing I could say about it at all, Christian or not, is do not do anything to excess so that you are dealing with addiction problems or legal issues...oh and don't drink and drive.

They are not true followers of Christ. It is OK to drink beer as long as you don't get drunk i.e. you have one beer with a meal or something because you like the taste(which would be really weird because it tastes nasty). Christians should not smoke dope or condone it that is not right they are not true followers of our Lord they are only changing the word of God to meet their own selfish desires. And just because God put it here doesn't mean he wants us to use it, he put the forbidden fruit in the garden of Edan and didn't want Eve or Adam to eat it.

I'm glad you didn't say "Born again christians",cause it is not ok to smoke period and occasionally get drunk for a christian. the good book clearly speaks about putting unclean things in your body and not to do it.

whats with athiest or agnostics or muslims or drug dealers etc. saying the same thing dope is against the law get it. occasionally getting drunk rough on the liver and you risk doing things you might regret in the morning.

I have known people who have called themselves Christian just because they believe that Jesus is the son of God.They have no idea what the bible tells us & they don't go to church yet because they believe in God they call themselves Christians. ( I am not Judging here) So they give false information. Just pray for them.

They apparently forget the part in the bible where we are taught to obey the laws of the land (as long as they do not force us to go against our conscience) and not to get drunk.

Not really a answer to your question, But I have a sister in law who lives in joplin Mo. who Belongs to a church that rides bikes, goes to party's and they hang protective crystals in their doorways and near windows to keep evil at bay, Everytime I visit her I tell her that her crystals are not working, all they do is give me a head ache!

oh, i dunno.
i jsut got off of one thread, full of shrieking christians, lamenting about satan and the "lake of fire" and all the usual, droll, boring bible threats....
love me and follow me or i'll send you to hell for an eternity, and some other such threatening nonsense!
