I'm in junior high and my friend likes this guy a lot, but he doesn't like her...the problem is today she claims i was flirting with him! All i did was smile at him when he smiled at me, and he said hi to me a lot today, and then, in a joking way he tossed my book in a garbage can..LOL! And we talked..that's it..are we flirting? I don't think we are...

if u dont have feelings for him, then talking to him is not a crime. it is ok to talk to guys without flirting. i think that u r not flirting if u dont like him and ur just talking and nothing else. hope this helps!

it could be and it could not be. it depends on the way you acted when talking to him. think about someone else that you talk to a lot and see if you acted differently. if you felt giggly and smily the whole time then you could have been flirting.
