Does anyone own a Specialized Fsr XC? how do they hill climb?

The Specialized is a very nice bike. If you want a pure climbing bike, you should stick with a hardtail. The rear suspension will not help you climb and adds weight to the machine.

What year is it? Because moset recent Specialized FSRs have a lock out on the rear shock so you can climb uphill.
