I go into many churches. I speak and answer questions of congregations. I've also watched Roman Catholic masses for their rich symbolism and beautiful ritual.

Have you ever asked to join a circle? Have you ever gone into a Hindu Temple? Have you ever asked to sit in a Synagogue during Shabbat?

Have you ever come out of your Bible closet?

If you want the Truth.....Ask a Pagan.

I too was raised Catholic, but have not been attending mass for quite a few years. I can honestly say that I miss something, but I don't know what it is. The thought of going to Catholic church is bothersome because I don't feel that I was happy there. I have investigated other religions and have yet to find a church where I am comfortable.
I pray alone and read religious articles and answer questions here, which is about the extent of my spiritual life...which is apparently woefully lacking by the looks of it!

you are the only one who can judge the strength of your faith. If you are interested in returning to the church or heading to a new one, don't be afraid that your faith isn't that strong. Have faith in yourself and give it a shot. You may surprise yourself.

And in returning to church (or any form of organized religion), you may want to keep an open mind, since you may not agree with everything that is being taught.

Living a good life, being honest with others and yourself, and living your faith is just as important as attending church. Many who attend church do not attend the practice of their religion.

I dont need a church to tell me that God/Jesus is with me. All the experiences I have had with church going people - hypocrisy. They hear one thing and then interpret their way.

Don't go to a church religiously. Go if you feel the place gives you any positive vibrations. If it it calms your mind.

True faith is not something that you can work up yourself.

It is a gift from God.

Seek Him for that true faith.

He says such faith, even if it be as small as a mustard seed, is sufficient to remove mountains - why? Because it is what God does not what man tries to do.

Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

Seek Him to open your ears to hear.

Remember, a church is a hospital for sinners--not a museum for saints.

Seek God and if you really are sincere and in need God will find you out no matter where you are.
