I can't recall have read any such verse in the bible.
I think that the God and Jesus were quite content with holding women as sexual slaves.

It could of course be the case that beating was concidered a part of holding slaves at that time.

The best answer syndrome is illogical. I see your true question, however, it is a statement rather then a question.

Many non-reading so-called Christians, believe that the bible says it is OK to beat their wives. I assume you already know the answer to this question, it is asked in an attempt to make others see the truth. They say they are followers of Jesus Christ but they live by the words spoken by someone else.

There is nothing in the Bible that tell men to beat women...perhaps such men do not know what the Bible says...it is terrible when a man beats his wife, he turns into a Frankenstein...a monster...

There is no such verse in the conventional Bible of 66 books (Genesis to Revelation).

It doesn't and I'm sure you know that. But there is no denying that throughout the OT, women were depicted as whores, profane, unclean, worth less (monetarily) than men, subject to men, treated as chattel, at least twice offered for rape to save a man from being raped, frequently barren... I could go on but I won't.

The Bible nowhere condemns wife beating meaning that thereby it endorses it

Paul the hellbound pagan gave licence for all abuses of a husband on his wife- and Christianity forbids an abused woman to divorce her husband !!!

"Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God. Every man who prays or prophesies with his head covered dishonours his head. And every woman who prays or prophesies with her head uncovered dishonours her head - it is just as though her head were shaved. If a woman does not cover her head, she should have her hair cut off; and if it is a disgrace for a woman to have her hair cut off or shaved off, she should cover her head. A man ought not to cover his head, since he is the image and glory of God; but the woman is the glory of man. For man did not come from woman, but woman from man; neither was man created for woman, but woman for man. For this reason, and because of the angels, the woman ought to have a sign of authority on her head" (I Corinthians 11:3-10).:

"If a man happens to meet a virgin who is not pledged to be married and rapes her and they are discovered, he shall pay the girl's father fifty shekels of silver. He must marry the girl, for he has violated her. He can never divorce her as long as he lives. (From the NIV Bible, Deuteronomy 22:28)"

Here's a scripture about women.

10An excellent wife, who can find?
For her worth is far above jewels.
rare, precious
11The heart of her husband trusts in her,
And he will have no lack of gain.
trustworthy
12She does him good and not evil
All the days of her life.

13She looks for wool and flax
And works with her hands in delight.
works joyfully
14She is like merchant ships;
She brings her food from afar.

15She rises also while it is still night
And gives food to her household
And portions to her maidens.
16She considers a field and buys it;
From her earnings she plants a vineyard.

17She girds herself with strength
And makes her arms strong.

18She senses that her gain is good;
Her lamp does not go out at night.

19She stretches out her hands to the distaff,
And her hands grasp the spindle.
diligent

20She extends her hand to the poor,
And she stretches out her hands to the needy.
compassionate, generous
21She is not afraid of the snow for her household,
For all her household are clothed with scarlet.
provident
22She makes coverings for herself;
Her clothing is fine linen and purple.
elegant
23Her husband is known in the gates,
When he sits among the elders of the land.
influential
24She makes linen garments and sells them,
And supplies belts to the tradesmen.
industrious
25Strength and dignity are her clothing,
And she smiles at the future.
poised
26She opens her mouth in wisdom,
And the teaching of kindness is on her tongue.

27She looks well to the ways of her household,
And does not eat the bread of idleness.

28Her children rise up and bless her;
Her husband also, and he praises her, saying:
praiseworthy
29"Many daughters have done nobly,
But you excel them all."

30Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain,
But a woman who fears the LORD, she shall be praised.

31Give her the product of her hands,
And let her works praise her in the gates.
