True Christians are primarily interested in WHAT THE BIBLE TEACHES (see Scriptures below).
Meanwhile, trinitarians repeatedly pretend that Jehovah's Witnesses are not Christian. Trinitarians use an artificial, trinity-specific definition of the term "Christian" which excludes anyone who does not believe that Jesus is God Himself, rather than the Son of God. Interestingly, pagans in the first century pretended that Christ's followers were Atheists(!) because the Christians had a somewhat different idea from the pagans about the nature of God.
Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and disinterested theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.
The Trinitarian arguments are intended to insult and demean Jehovah's Witnesses, rather than to give a Scripturally accurate understanding of the term "Christian".
In fact, the bible most closely associates being "Christian" with preaching about Christ and Christ's teachings. Review all three times the bible uses the term "Christian" and note that the context connects the term with:
"declaring the good news"
'teaching quite a crowd'
'open eyes, turn from dark to light'
"uttering sayings of truth"
"persuade"
"keep on glorifying"
(Acts 11:20-26) [The early disciples of Jesus] began talking to the Greek-speaking people, declaring the good news of the Lord Jesus... and taught quite a crowd, and it was first in Antioch that the disciples were by divine providence called Christians.
(Acts 26:17-28) [Jesus said to Paul] I am sending you, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light and from the authority of Satan to God... Paul said: “I am not going mad, Your Excellency Festus, but I am uttering sayings of truth and of soundness of mind. ...Do you, King Agrippa, believe the Prophets? I know you believe.” But Agrippa said to Paul: “In a short time you would persuade me to become a Christian.”
(1 Peter 4:14-16) If you are being reproached for the name of Christ, you are happy... But if he suffers as a Christian, let him not feel shame, but let him keep on glorifying God in this name
So why do anti-Witnesses try to hijack the term "Christian" and hide its Scriptural implications? Because anti-Witnesses recognize that it is the preaching work that makes it clear that the relatively small religion of Jehovah's Witnesses are by far the most prominent followers of Christ:
(Matthew 28:19,20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded

I agree with Achtung, and I see that the majority of so-called christian belief is based upon the Nicene Creed, NOT on the Bible which is the word of God. The Nicene Creed was written by men who were interested only in establishing Their beliefs, not based on the word of God. Sadly, most so-called christians, continue to base their belief system on the "traditions of men,' rather than do some investigating into the word of God, with people who actually understand His word, and choose to be 'misled' by their leaders, rather than looking into what the Bible says about God's Kingdom, when the time will come when people who love what is right will live on earth forever. Found in any Bible at Psalms 37:29, Matthew 5:5 and Revelation 21:4 Bravo sister!

Jehovah's Witnesses are Christians. My Wife and I have been Witnesses since Aug 1996. We love the truth.
We have been set free from all the pagan beliefs other Religions teach. Jesus said you will know the truth and the truth will set you free. We are in a Spiritual Paradise and we love Jehovah and his Son Jesus Christ for blessing us with such a wonderful Brotherhood. Hi Sister.
Love and greetings from Brother and Sister Weeks.

It depends on what you mean by the word Christian.
The typical definition of Christian throughout the last 2000 years has been to include the belief about the Trinity. (Which I believe JW's do not believe. Correct me if I am wrong.)
I believe that Jesus himself claimed to be equal with God. Any "I am" statement in the Gospels by Jesus is a direct statement of divinity (worthy of stoning or crucifixion). If Jesus claimed to be equal with God and was followed by his closest followers as equal with God (See the traditional interpretation of John 1:1. Probably has been changed in the Bible you got at the Kingdom Hall.) and you do not, do you truly believe Christ and follow Him?

Any religion that does not believe in the true infallible Word of God is corrupt. Also, God says in His Word that we MUST go thru Jesus Christ, (God in the flesh) to get to the Father God. It's like giving someone a recipe for pie crust and leaving the main ingredient out, yeast. Without the main ingredient (Jesus), the crust will not rise (resurrection). Without Jesus rising from the dead, we would all be under the death penalty for our sins as our debt wouldn't be paid, as death would not have been conquered by Jesus. With your faith, the main ingredient is left out --Jesus as the Christ who rose from the dead so we can live eternally with Him. Religion is man's attempt to reach God by his own strength, but Faith in Jesus, our risen God and Savior is God's reaching down to us and redeeming us by His Son's sacrifice. When we are judged, God will not be asking us which religion did you follow, but WHO did you follow? Turn to Jesus and read God's Word entirely. In Christ.

Not denying that you call yourselves Christians.
But the vast majority of Christian theologians define Christianity in terms of the Nicene Creed, which states that Jesus is God, and that He is of one substance with the Father. So by the definition the rest of us use, you are not.

J.W.s don't believe in the Trinity, Don't believe that Jesus is God and don't believe in hell, despite the teachings of Jesus. So, I do not consider you Christian, despite what the watchtower version of the bible says. No offense intended.

Do you believe that Jesus is God or a created being?
I won't say that no Jehovah's witness is a christian, but I don't believe that Jehovah's witness teaching is christian.
I believe that many people become christians in spite of bad teaching.
