No. Understand that Satan, the devil, or evil has some power to influence people, just as you were influenced.
There is only one hope of receiving power over evil and that to is to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. All you have to do is talk to God just like you would do anyone else and ask him to forgive you of your sins(bad thoughts and actions) and to save you from evil. He will save you, give you eternal life, and Jesus will be in your heart, be a permanent part of you, and establish an eternal relationship with Him. He will not only be your Savior, but your best friend who will always be there for you and will always love you, even when you mess up and make mistakes.
He will not judge by the external features as others do(physical appearance, money, house, clothes, etc.) but by what is in your heart.
Trust in Him and you will have an inner peace that only He can give and you will be changed into a new you.

It's called self-fulfilling prophecy. Whether you believed him or not, initially, you retained the memory of what the fortune teller told you in your subconscious. And now that things are happening that resemble what he said - look how quickly you jumped at comparing what is happening to what he said.
You made the decisions, subconsciously, to bring about the future that the furtune teller saw.
I read tarot cards for fun and the first thing you are taught is that when reading another's fortune you never NEVER tell them that what is showed will happen - because of the self-fulfilling prophecy - choices that you make in the present effect the future and any good fortune teller knows this. And, secondly, you NEVER NEVER finish a reading on a negative note, but always positively.

NO!!!!!!! don't believe it at ALL! fortune tellers just say simple things so that you will believe it. The thing that happened to you just happened as a coincidence. FOR EXAMPLE: what if i told you that if you saw a blonde haired woman wearing a pink tanktop in the store this week, you would be haunted on for the rest of your life? WOULD YOU BELIEVE THAT? i'm just trying to give you some examples and advice... that just randomly happened and it happened by coincidence. the point is. don't believe it and go on living your life! smile =)

Fortuning telling is a load of bull crap. Here is my proof:
If you could tell the future, would you:
a) make lots of money on the markets;
b)make lots of money on gambling;
c)write wonderful novels written by people in the future;or
d) set up a shitty little business telling random people they are going to die for $10 a time?
If you can talk to dead people, would you:
a)talk to love ones who have died;
b)talk to the great and good of old;or
c)talk to some old lady called marge who has a message for someone named jim or james, who is related someway to an audience member?
You really shouldn't believe in it. Fortune tellers tell very vague stories that can be translated into any event(s). I am sure you'll fine...

No, don't ever believe something bad is going to happen in the future (personally).
Always believe in good.
There is this thing called a Self Fullfilling Prophecy.
You can make it come true (consciously, sub-consciously) if you don't try to stop it.
Hope this helps.
This is in reference to things that could happen without basis in reality.
If you see your tire wearing out, buy a new tire
befor it leaves you on side of the road.
Common sense here.

Hi there! You and I have some similar experience...if you would like to chat about it, feel free to email me. But to answer your question, you must know that demons to speak through SOME sooth-sayers, etc. That is why scripture tells us that we should stay away from them. Now satan and his demons (fallen angels) do not know the future. Only God does. But they have been around long enough to guess very accurately. Please be very careful. The spiritual world is very real and I have personally experienced some frightening things. God bless you for seeking the truth on this topic; it may very well save you one day. Or maybe save someone you love.

Ever wonder why there has never been a major tragedy prevented by a psychic? Ever wonder why there are no psychics winning the lottery yet there are tons of them trying to get you to call them for $3.99 a minute? Ever wonder why the CIA abandoned its psychic program?
Psychics rarely give exact details to their predictions. The ones that do give out lots of predictions and claim they have powers when 1 out of 1000 guesses turns out to be right. No psychic has ever been able to prove to have psychic powers. If one could, there are lots of skeptic groups willing to give them lots of prize money. All the skeptic has to do is prove the skill. Lots have tried. None have done it.

I think it's coincidence. For future reference I would avoid these soothsayers and all their hogwash. Those with a true God give ability to see that which has not happened will seek you out if you should know something coming your way.

No, it's a coincidence. Did he tell you WHEN these things would happen? That would be something worth taking a bit more seriously. Trust me, these people know what they are doing, and what they are doing is making money off of tricking people.
