Everclear is currently has the highest proof (190 proof). It's currently banned in Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Washington, California, Michigan, Ohio, Florida, Virginia and West Virginia due to the high percentage. An alternative to this could be Bacardi 151 (151 Proof - 75.5% alcohol by volume).

Everclear. But be very very very careful with that stuff. I had some at a party and I honestly thought i was going to die. They made something called apple pie with it (just Everclear with some cinammon sticks and other spices to it and then you let it sit in the fridge for a month). Anyhoooo.....long story short...it goes down WAY too smooth, but not as nice coming back up!!
