I have to write a paragraph about it in Spanish, but I'm not sure what progreso means. At first I thought it meant "progress," but then the question doesn't really make sense to me.

It means progress, you are right. It also means improvement.
The sentence would mean: What progress do you want/would you like? or What improvement do you want/would you like?
I don't think it makes sense.
