i like that in a girl. i had a g/f that was like you and i should have married her..she was so nice to me and so was her family..but i thought i could do better with some blond hotty that i met...she dumped me the first night i left for the Air Force..she went out with my cousin...and he boinked her on the first date..but i heard she got a divorce from a guy she had married to for a long time..justice?
well, i often dream about my first girlfriend and think how life would be different if i would have married this less then perfect girl..she was honest and a hard worker...she was the oldest of 9 children and she was 18...so i know she was a hard worker...but i let her slip through my fingers...sin in haste and repent at leisure..
just be a nice girl/women and you do have a lot to offer any man...most people are not honest or sincere and you sound like you are both ..good luck

Cool her up and see what she's like then? Take it as a chance to offer her your guidance. If she isn't put off and you both like what she turns into, great. A cool butterfly. If you prefer to leave people as they are and not change them to your own taste, find a nice qay to tell her and see what she thinks. Either way communicate and be clear. P.S. Sorry, didn't read the additional comments that turn the situation around. If a guy is "too cool" to like you as you are, then you are wasting your time with him, no matter how cute he might be. If you want that, then keep it in mind and enjoy the ride if he likes you and don't take offense if he doesn't. His loss, your gain. I bet you're worth more than he is though!

Who defines who is cool or not, or how cool a person is? *shrugs* Have confidence in yourself...you're as good as anyone else so don't worry about "cool"...be the best you that you can be. Anyone who doesn't dig that, isn't someone you need to waste your time with anyway.

sweetie, there is no reason to feel inferior in any way ... first of all if u feel inferior to him because of friends/ social skills... then don't bother pursuing anything with him. it just wont work out .... you will always have a feeling of being inadequate for him ..... "being cool" isnt really what people look for in the oter person ... so speak up and tell him you are interested and i am sure he will appreciate ur boldness for telling him... but please never feel like someone is better than you!!!

Are you saying you hang with different crowds socially. If you think that he hangs in the "cool" crowd and your not good enough your wrong. And believe me one High School is over there is no cool crowd. Believe me.
