Women aren't to be dominated by men.

Example: The first woman was created by a rib of the first man. The rib is on the side of the man. Therefore, she is to be a compliment to him. At his side.
Women are to be submissive to their husbands, but their husband are to treat them with love and deep respect.

*That wasn't a definition, it was an example.
You were obviously taught [my initials] in school!

Have a good one!

When God created Adam and Eve, he created them equal. They were both "one", yet sovereign beings before God. If you read Genesis, you will see that Eve was "cursed" when God put her in subjugation to her husband. You can't be cursed with something if had always been that way. When we are reconciled with Christ, and when He is in the proper place in our life, the curse is lifted and women are no longer subject to their husbands, but are sovereign under God.

Woman came under the domination of man as a result of sin and the fall. (Genesis 3:16)

In Christ, her place of equality is restored:
"There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus." (Galatians 3:28)

G-ds' intention was not for man to dominate woman, but for them to share & work together, side by side.
