lithic = lítico (de piedra)

potsherds = pedazos de cerámica

These are very specific words. I found an english-spanish archeology glossary, I hope this helps

lithic = lítico (relativo a la piedra)

potsherds = tejoleta (pedazos de barro cocido)

I agree with nmaria. :) although lithics might also refer to lithium, the lightest metal known in several minerals.
