Within day to day life, or washing the car, then no. However, if they cant see that 2+2=4 it does make you wonder what other things they are capable of missing.

In the grand scheme of things there is not much difference except for one very important fact. IF creation did not happen as the Bible describes than everything else can be held in suspect and the Bible is meaningless. IF we evolved from the same ancestors as apes and then even earlier from single cell amoebas than there is nothing else for us after this life and life as a whole is meaningless and pointless.

Personally, I'm not interested in giving the best answers on this forum, only truthful and correct answers to the best of my mortal, human abilities!!!
It matters NOT where the 'salvation' of your soul is concerned, whether you believe in creation or evolution, or God used little green men to planted(seed) life here on earth!
It most certainly matters, however, whether or not you believe, and KNOWN personally, the ONE who created ALL things, and that person being Jesus Christ!!!

What you personally believe in matters not at all to me. When you try to impose your beliefs to everyone else via wishing to teach creationism in public schools, then it matters a great deal.

Yeah, who cares if people believe in something thats not true. Lets leave them in an imaginary world where logic is no where in sight. Lets believe in every doctrine of every religion's version of creationism. The questions of life is easily answered by God(s).

The thought is that if the Bible proves inaccurate concerning anything, then it can not be trusted concerning everything. The foundation of the scripture is that there is a God, and that He created us. Undermine that and the whole Bible becomes a house of cards.

I think it does matter if someone chooses to ignore reason and to believe in mythology that is contrary to physical reality. It has got to carry over to other facets of someone's life. How can you examine anything, honestly, if you can so easily deny facts?

It doesn't matter at all unless they insist on teaching their religion in the public schools or writing it into the laws of the land.

-What matters is the truth, and how it is dealt with. It really dose matter how someone deals with credible evidence when it is presented to them.
-We also live in a democracy, and sadly the truth can be voted out of the classroom.
-Lastly, in the open forum of ideas, it matter what one believes because it will generally lead to what they say and teach.

Believing in Creation isn't that important other than just knowing the truth. It's belief in God that counts.
