What are you talking about? It takes a boat load of courage to join the military knowing you will probably see combat. and those who join are certainly not going to boldly or eloquently DESERT during war time conditions.

That would be "your courage", for others would be to kick a door knowing that there will be bullets flying his way once that door is open. Most of the soldiers fighting right now, enlisted or reenlisted after 2004, meaning that they knew exactly what they were getting into, so why an act of being a coward be confused with an act of courage? Did you at least served or are you one of them Monday morning quarterbacks? What are you bringing to the table other than your state of confusion? And if you served, which I highly doubt it, you do not know what the brotherhood is all about. Might as well get your penny loafers and drink your cappuccino and sleep well, someone else has your back.

Your definition of courage means taking the easy way out. All though the soldier did not chose to go to War, he went, in service to his country to which he owes his allegiance. Now we are well into the war, when the war began there was a 70% US approval rating to go fight it, now as it becomes less fashionable, people like you come forward and redefine courage. You call our soldiers cowards because their hardships inconvenience your delicate sensibilities, you make me sick. If we leave now the whole region will explode, Sunni verse Shi'ite, Muslim vs. Jew. The soldiers know now that their people, their country made a mistake by invading, the soldier know that only he and his comrades can make it right.
If they leave now there will be bloodshed on unimaginable scale and that to you,
YOU COWARD,
is courage.

Have you ever maybe surfed to the back of your head and decided they dont because this is there job, they join to do this, why is it so hard to remember that you dont join the Military to sale Girl Scout Cookies, you join to stand behind and up for our country during war time or national disaster.. When they are home meaning at there duty station they are training for war times and national disaster.. This is there job, yet people like you forget about that.. We live in the United States, so they get to decide on there own if this is what they want to do..They are not forced, they sign a contract, like when you buy a car.. So they know what they are getting into.. Remember these things when you are thinking of questions.. THEY ARE PROUD TO THEY LOVE OUR COUNTRY AND THEY ARE DOING THERE JOB...

Because they understand that they must put in double effort so people like you can enjoy what they live and die for. I read the many posts on here and I realize that there really aren't too many like you. The few there are are very vocal but you really are just making noise to cover up your electronic upbringing that was taught by the left wing liberal teachers. You can keep on trashing the troops as we understand we have to carry the weak!! That is our job!! USMC 60-68

Because they are soldiers and not cowardice traitors.
It is far more courageous to stay and fight...to do the duty you swore an oath to do than you will ever know.

Um, I would consinder that equaling to being a coward. Get a life... plus, they have pride in their country, and that would be TREASON. How do you know what the truth is? Have you served? I think not.
