To make you a contact.

We know you're one of us and we welcome you, fellow demon.

What did you do for Jesus today? Make friends with Satanists?

How can Atheist be soldiers of Satan? They don't believe! Evil is in the hearts of man. Evil is committed because man chooses to do it. God allows us to fall on our face because we have been given free will. In the original bibles, before the church re-wrote everything, Satan was an Angel of God who's purpose was to tempt people and then he reported back to God who he was able to tempt. Originally, Satan wasn't the fallen Angel he is today. The church needed a scapegoat. It's time people started owning up to their wrong doings.

Love your neighbor.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Atheists by there definition don't believe in angels or Satan (who is an angel which for some bizarre reason an omnipotent uberbeing would create, even knowing full well that the creation would become lord of the underworld, thus necessitating a sacrificial lamb to be slaughtered to save you from your sins which wouldn't exist if the omnipotent god knew what it was doing in the first place).

Fabyolla,

"Soldiers of satan" is a rather degrading name for those who do not believe in GOD. I choose to think of them as not yet converted Christians or people who we may yet choose to convert to Christianity. What you are doing here is placing a wedge between them and Christians. What good have you done by saying this? Isn't it OUR JOB as Christians to reach and teach those who are LOST according to Maqtthew 28:18-21? I believe that it is and I do not harbor any ill feelings for Atheists, Agnostics, Muslims, Hindus, or any other Non-Christians. Do you have similar feelings for every person who does not share your feelings/beliefs of GOD? I hope not! CHRIST taught love, NOT Hate! We are to do the same. Have a great evening and a wonderful week with what is left of it.

Thanks for litening,
Eds, A simple Christian

EDIT...
Courtney,
I am sorry that you seemed to be right on this one. I hope that this is not the case for all of us.

Vanorra,
I hope that the therapy went well and I am sorry about this comment. Please forgive each of us who are stuck in this VOID.

Helios and a host of others,
I am appologizing for this lady's comment. Please do not consider it as something that I would ever want to say in any circumstance.

Thanks,

My orders? Satan gives not an order. My inspiration, however, is to continue seducing theists like yourself to waste their time typing hateful messages on their computers- reinforcing their vanity, pride, materialism, and tendency toward religious intolerance.

How am I doing?

We're supposed to smite some goofy chick named Fabyolla.

Came straight from the depths.

The memo was even a little scorched around the edges.

Excuse me, Sparky, but you proceed from a false assumption: Atheists have NO SUPERNATURAL BELIEFS, which means we don't believe in God, and we don't believe in Satan, either. Or demons, or gnomes, or fairies, or the Easter Bunny. Try again.

My orders for today were the same as always. Do good work, love your wife, eat healthful foods that also taste good, be smart, be healthy, use wisdom, and exasperate the smug, self-satisfied and credulous whenever possible. Yourself included.

I went to visit my brother in the hospital. No time for satan's chores today. I'll do double duty tomorrow.

If you consider non-participants (atheists) to be Satanic, what would you consider a Goddess worshipping pagan like me?
