First off, dont listen to baby rach.
Just be confident, and happy with yourself.
Also, you're only 12, so even though you may want one really bad right now, you are a bit young, and try not to worry about that for a while =)

At 12, you don't need (and shouldn't have) a boyfriend. At 12, you should focus on building friendships, with both boys and girls. Some of those friendships, over time, will get deeper.
If you're having trouble making friends due to your weight, you might be looking for the wrong kind of friends. Part of that is examine how you treat others. For example, do YOU make an issue of your weight? If so, that can scare off perfectly nice people (including boys).
Also understand that, at 12, your peers (and you!) are immature. That's what being 12 is: immature. Therefore, some kids are going to be jerks. It's nothing personal. Which is why you need to make friendships that are based on things other than this particular physical characteristic.

Your a young girl and you shouldn't weight that! Don't worry though because your young its easier to lose weight! Talk to your doctor and your parents about a diet that is healthy for you. Also remember that loosing more then 2 lbs a week is unhealthy! Most people get married in there mid 20's so girl...don't worry about those stupid boys right now! I am 18 and found the love of my life but I still think thats too young because I missed the whole being sinlge part of my life. Do not let people bring you down on here...they probably weigh 290 honey!!

Dont... Work on yourself, wait a couple years, and guys will fight each other to have you as a girlfrind. And, no, I am not kidding... :-)
As far as your weight, I do not know your height, but I suspect you probably need to get out and play. First, try to stop eating fast food and tell you mom to get 1% milk, assuming you are not allergic to milk. When you are hungry, just drink this stuff instead. Milk is the most complex liquid on earth and is perfectly balanced from a carb/protein/fat standpoint.
Also, DO NOT DIET!! Get out and play!!! You are about to go thru the most important growth phase in your life. A growth phase that will affect your for the rest of your life how you think about boys... Any restricting of food will have a direct affect on this... It is not worth risking...

Your main concern right now shouldn't be to get a boyfriend, you should try to shed some lbs. It will make you feel alot better about yourself and you wouldn't need to ask such a question. There's many sources on the internet that will help you, try it out. The results will allow you to have a good image and health, which will then lead to a good life, confidence, and a brighter future. Good luck!

wow....um.... sounds like you're obese..... well first i dont think you should be looking for a boyfriend at the age of 12. the most important things right now are school & your health.. i think you should talk to your parents about seeing a doctor for your weight problem. it may just be aphase your body is going through. or obesity could runin your family. (are your parents or one of your parents over weight?)
as far as the boy friend thing...i know when i was twelve fat people got made fun of alot. try sticking to the people that are NEVER mean to you. those are the ones who donnot care about your weight. they may truely like you as a friend. you don't want to try to go w/ the most popular boy & stuff like that... that causes drama. but just be patient. maybe there are boys that like you... you may just not know it yet. good luck w/ everything

i'm just like u. only i'm 13. my little brother helps me do sit ups and helps me get in to shape. but if u don't have a brother that'll do that then ask a parent or a close friend. my friends are always encouraging me to keep working out. my mom also lost a lot of weight off of weight watchers and she is my inspiration. hope this helps. good luck.

I understand your frustration. I would wait a couple or so years before concentrating on boys. In the meantime, find a good diet and exercise program. Once you begin to conquer the weight, you can build up on your self esteem. I know you can do it. Good luck.

By being confident, no guy likes a girl who has very poor self esteem. They want a girl who feels sexy and confident and knows what she has
