Love, sweet love; that's the only thing that there's just too little of--- something like that. Yes, I love to hear "I love you". there's all kinds of love -- like I love chocolate! I love this beautiful sunny day! I love my brother! I love my friends, and it goes on and on. Expressing your feelings of love is never wrong. I would rather have said it too many times than to never tell a person at all how I feel about them! When it's too late to tell a person that you loved them, it's too sad.

Luv ya!!!!

If she's a brown-eyed brunette, and at least a 36C, yeah I like it a lot. Otherwise, it can often be a little creepy. People throw the word "love" around a little too often, and it has lost a lot of its meaning, which is truly sad.

Only if they mean it. And only if it's someone I know.

I find it arrogant of some people who go around telling everyone in the whole world that they love them without knowing anything about them. If you don't even know someone, how can you love them?

Definitely not for men I've just met or in place of sexual drives such as lust. "I love you" is rather meaningless and short-lived when used in this context.

As for family and people who have known each other for a long period of time, I love it. I think more people need to pass the affection. We're too focused on hate and violence in this culture.

It depends on who is saying that. IF it's someone I know I guess yes I do like it but if the person is a complete stranger then I find it creepy.

Sure. I only take it literally when I know that I am truly loved by that person, like my son. Otherwise, I consider it a compliment. Unless someone is trying to con me, but that is soooo rare..

In my opinion the word love is used way too inflationary today. It is the highest feeling of all, so you shouldn't throw it around like nothing. If it is meant from the heart, I 'love' to hear it. ;)

Well it depends on the person, reason, and meaning. If they mean it, absolutely. Otherwise it's just a pointless joke. LOVE can mean lot's of things, but it's nothing if you don't mean it.
