Well, if your question tells us anything it tell us that you think your weight will keep you from getting a boyfriend. (That's what you mention 1st). So, let's concentrate on that for a moment.
You don't tell us how tall you are which is important in trying to figure out what a good weight would be for you. So, I'll assume your average. In that case 190 pounds is really not a healthy weight for you.

You must have seen on TV or in the news about children in the US being overweight, sometimes severely. It is a national problem. So you are not alone. Do you eat a lot of fast foods, drink soda, snack a lot? Most likely the answer is yes to all of them. Have you had a physical exam lately from your Dr. Could there be a possibility that your thyroid gland is not acting 100% right and it could actually add to gaining weight.?

You could ask your parents to discuss this issue with you. They have your best interests in mind and might come up with a plan that would help you to eat healthier and enable you to loose some weight. You could also go to the school nurse and ask her about it. I know she can be a really good resource and she too is on your side. You might ask your parents for a Dr.'s appt to discuss it with him too. Weight Watchers, Jenny Craig, Nutrisystem all have diets that were developed to loose weight healthily. Perhaps that would be an idea you could present to your parents.

You have already admitted that you have a problem so now you have to find the solution. No fad diets. These are your developing years and you need important vitamins, minerals etc from food. Besides that, you need to start developing a healthy attitude that you can use your entire life. You also must exercise. That doesn't mean 1hr on the treadmill. Don't panic...but walking is an good way to exercise. Do you have a bike you can ride? Could the gym teacher show you some simple exercises you can do at home? Again, you have to plan

You're only 12. I know it probably seems like everyone has a boyfriend or talking about having one. You're still young. Most boys at 12 aren't that interested in having a girlfriend as you might think they are. Concentrate on being healthy, you'll loose weight, start feeling better about yourself and by then the boys will just be starting to realize what a catch you'd be.

Good luck.

I'm sorry honey, but the answer is 'with great difficulty'. Boys are immature at 12, 13 ....22. They tend to look at the package and miss what's inside. They eventually do but it takes a longggggg
time. So, decide who and what you want to be. Develope and grow into a mature young woman by then us boys would have grown up a little

First of all, I think 12 is far too young to have a boyfriend. Secondly, if you start limiting your calorie intake to less than 2000 calories per day, stop drinking soda with sugar in it, and try to do some form of exercise once a day, you should be in better shape in a little while. Don't do any crash diets, and for God's sake don't develop an eating disorder. You just need to modify your eating habits.

I would suggest that you worry about you, first. Are you happy with yourself? If not, talk to your parents about a supervised health program that can help you with your weight. Your weight should be a health concern and not a concern when it comes to getting a boyfriend. Also, at twelve, the last thing on your mind should be worrying about how to get a boyfriend.

Find yourself and what makes you happy. Be beautiful on the inside and it will show on the outside.

of course, you are 12 years old and you shouldn't be worrying about boys. But since I know you roll your eyes and say "but I want one! This lady is no help!", I will help you anyways.

You should try eating less sugary foods. Like ice cream, cake, sweets. you don't have to sut it out completely, just limit yourself.

And you should become more active. Join a sport or something. Not only will you lose weight, but that is a great opportunity to meet a boy.

Try talking to your parents. They may be able to help you with your eating habits.

Hope this helps :)

you need to do it very carefully...as to not CRUSH the boy you fat *** pig, your gonna be completely ignored or made fun of your whole friggin life....so loose the weight right now, or loose out on a life....

190 and 12...the hell do they feed you...you should sue your parents for neglect and endangerment...

by the way...you have this list to look forward to in life as you continue to get older and fatter...starting at around your mid twenties...diabetes, enlarging of the heart, heart disease, cholesteral problems, dificulty sleeping, sleep amnia, easy bruising, higher cancer risks...gought...and suffering through all these with no boyfriend...cause as sweet as you think you are on the inside, it does mean a lot when your disgusting and fat...the only man you might end up with is one with over serious issues, and your the only thing he feels he can get...

have a nice life chunky

It doesn't matter about your weigh. You need to find a boyfriend who will except you for who you are in the inside, not how you look

Why don't you try getting a diet and some self esteem first. Boys aren't that important. Love yourself and they'll come to you. Best you learn that now.
