What was the day in which you felt that your life had a true purpose? Or the day in which you learnt your biggest lesson?

When I got my 6 month chip in AA/NA
That was years ago - but it was the first time that I realized that I was capable of so much more... and I did not have to be what people expected of me....
If not that day - then when my dad called to tell me that he accepted me for who I am (being gay) and wanted me to know that I was still loved....
I think this is probably the first REALLY personal question I've answered on here...

it was a the end of the day , i still lived in my parents home, i looked out the bedroom window down on the backyard. the light was a bit yellow because the sun was going down. I saw and heard how the neighbour was brushing the street and a blackbird singing
This was strange but i felt very happy inside. I thought this moment i should always remember for other times.

The day that I decided to follow Jesus Christ, when I asked Him forgiveness and repented of my sin. Each day has been meaningful ever since, and that was 37 years ago.
Life became colourful from that day onwards, before then it is though everything in my life was black and white.

when I gave birth to my three children I knew what purpose my life had.But I learn my biggest lesson the day my mother-n-law died.I learned how short life is and that the last thing you say to somebody could really be the last thing you say to them.Always try to treat your loved ones like it is the last time you will ever see them.

The day that the blind fold was lifted from my eyes, and I found out what the Bible really teaches. And being baptized as one of Jehovahs Witnesses!!!!
