The best description I've read of heaven was in Captain Stormfield's Visit to Heaven by Mark Twain. Here's an excerpt:
"I'll set you right on that point very quick. People take the
figurative language of the Bible and the allegories for literal,
and the first thing they ask for when they get here is a halo and a
harp, and so on. Nothing that's harmless and reasonable is refused
a body here, if he asks it in the right spirit. So they are
outfitted with these things without a word. They go and sing and
play just about one day, and that's the last you'll ever see them
in the choir. They don't need anybody to tell them that that sort
of thing wouldn't make a heaven - at least not a heaven that a sane
man could stand a week and remain sane.

God's Word says we won't have to be in His paradise alone. "I shall fully know even as I also am fully known" (1 Corinthians 13:12). We will not only know our friends and family we will "fully know" them. In other words, there is no need for secrets in Heaven. There is nothing to be ashamed of. There is nothing to hide. We will have eternity to interact with "a great multitude, which no man could number, out of all nations and kindreds and people and tongues" (Revelation 7:9). No wonder Heaven will be a place of infinite learning. Just getting to know everyone will take eternity!

In this life, the best things we have come from God. Everything that is good, fun, exciting, awe inspiring, breath taking, amazing, beautiful--in its purist form, comes from God. Those who spend eternity with God will experience all these things without the barriers of the negative side we have here. Everything that is most enjoyable, tasty, wonderful, amazing, comforting, beautiful and so on will be there to enjoy.
God, who created us and know everything about us, even the motives behind our thoughts, knows how to give good gifts and promises that eternity for believers will be GREAT!!! I trust that He knows what He's talking about.

I can't believe these people here are serious with their ridiculous ideas of heaven and some of them even believe in the fiery pit of hell - so much for education.
True heaven would be a oneness with God, a state of being rather than living - nirvana.
Phony Christian heaven would be a load of dung because it doesn't exist and if it did you would have to put up with a load of sanctimonius imbeciles.

After living on Earth and experiencing all the pain and hardships life has to give you, you learn the true value of being loved and happy. With that knowledge, you can live in heaven with all those you love and genuinely appreciate everything you have.

"Heaven" is our true state of being; It is everything that we are, beneath our illusions that we are human and nothing more than bodies, and/or puppets of an angry god.
"Eternity" is simultaneous...the spacious present...the eternal now. We are capable of creating worlds (including this one, but we are largely ignorant that we do so.) We have been called "...gods in chemical clothes". Yes, interesting; we are formless, yet can take form; invisible, yet can be seen if we choose; we are eternal and eternally loved/loving...we are free, we are whole, we are perfect, we live. We are the beloved of perfect love.

Guess it's not supposed to be interesting. I think 80-90 years on earth gets to be boring too, so I really can't imagine eternity with nothing to do. I'd probably go stark raving mad, kind of like Lucifer, I imagine.

How can I tell you of the things that God Himself has prepared for those who truly love Him? Can I read the mind of God? Can you?
All we have is what is stated in various scriptures of the Bible, like the very revealing vision of the new Heaven and Earth in Isaiah 65!!!
17 ¶ For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
There will be NO more wars, sicknesses, weeds, poisonous insects, No pain, no sorrow of lost relatives that didn't make it,and NO memory of unsaved former loved ones!!! For how could it be truly Heaven if we always remembered the dead unsaved in Heaven!!!
Isa 65:18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever [in that] which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
No longer will Israel always WAR with her neighbors, but she shall be eternally at PEACE with them! They ALL shall serve the Lord their God JESUS forever!!!!
Isa 65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
Isa 65:20 ¶ There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner [being] an hundred years old shall be accursed.
This verse tells me that people still in their natural bodies, and NOT glorified bodies will live to be hundreds of years OLD like in the days of ADAM and EVE!!!
Isa 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit [them]; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
Some things never change. Ha! I wonder if Bob Villa will be building my house?!
Isa 65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree [are] the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
Hurrah! That means there could be NO sheriffs knocking on your door for a sheriff's auction, because you didn't pay your property taxes!!!
Isa 65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they [are] the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
Isa 65:24 ¶ And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
Isn't that just so amazingly wonder?!!!
Isa 65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust [shall be] the serpent's meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith the LORD.
Is this enough of a 'window' into eternal Heaven for God's followers, for you?

No one knows for sure but I believe it just like life here but without the troubles. We work, play, eat, see concerts, enjoy gardens, and animals. We look like we are 30, and with whatever features we want. There is actually research going on there to help us here.
