I served in the Navy active duty 1977-80 and Naval Reserves 81-83. I was stationed at Whiting Field, Milton, Fl, and also at Little Creek Amphibious Base in Little Creek, Virginia. I also was a sailor on the USS Nashville. Thank you to all who have served.

US Navy, 20 years, 2 months, 1 day. USS Tutuila ARG-4(in country-Viet Nam...Phu Quoc Island & mouth of Mekong River, Fleet Trng Cntr Dam Neck(2 tours), Navy Commissary Yokohama Japan, McMurdo Antarctica (13 months), USS H.W. Gilmore AS-16 (in Sardinia 3 1/2 years), NAS Oceana Weps, USS LaSalle AGF-3(flag ship for the middle east forces), USS L.Y. Spear AS-36, back to Dam Neck, USS Nimitz CVN-68. Now attached to COM CIV LANT, RET DET, S.E. VA. (if you're military, you can probably figure that out).

US ARMY (which stands for Uncle Sam Ain't Released Me Yet).

1988-1991, Fort Sill, OK, and Hanau, West Germany as an artillery gunner. Fired a live round twice in Crete! Once as a finslapper and track driver, the second as the gunner.

Iraq 51, I was also LANCE!!!!! 13N, 1/32 FA. Bravo Battery, 1st Fire.

18 years in the Army. Ft Jackson, SC, Ft Sam Houston, TX, Ft Leanerwood, MO, Ft Carson, CO, Korea, Miami, FL, Germany, and Texas, Nebraska and Texas again. Still having fun and I am a Sapper, Combat Engineer.
