It has a vague aroma of alligator breath, embolden by discarded guns all filtered through the coarse hairs of the plump NYC water rat. Yum.

Good tap water shouldn't taste like anything. I'm fortunate in living where my water is snow melt from the mountains and can say that it doesn't have any taste or smell.

I have a filter (activated charcoal) so it's virtually tasteless. I sort of taste the chlorine the city uses when there's no filter but not as strong as it tastes in, say, Toronto.
