31 Another parable He put forth to them, saying: “The kingdom of heaven is like a mustard seed, which a man took and sowed in his field, 32 which indeed is the least of all the seeds; but when it is grown it is greater than the herbs and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and nest in its branches.” Matthew 13:31-32
The scope of the parable of the seed sown, is to show that the beginnings of the gospel would be small, but its latter end would greatly increase; in this way the work of grace in the heart, the kingdom of God within us, would be carried on.
Our spiritual garden is the gospel. We tend the garden when we share our faith with others.

The parable of the sower.
"But the seed on good soil stands for those with a noble and good heart, who hear the word, retain it, and by persevering produce a crop."

How about Song of Solomon 1:6 "Do not stare at me because I am dark, because I am darkened by the sun. My mother’s sons were angry with me and made me take care of the vineyards; MY OWN VINEYARD I HAVE NEGLECTED."

I don't have a Bible with me but really, I think you should read Paul's Epistles.
Sorry for this.
God bless you in Jesus' name.
