First, it's religion and spirituality, not Christian. Read the header.
Second, most atheist spent a great deal of time researching religion and did a lot of soul searching before leaving the birth religion, so find the subjects interesting.
Third, many of us come to Society and Culture, where many R&S questions show up.
Forth, many Buddhists and Taoists are atheists. Buddhism and Taoism are very spiritual religions, just because they are atheists doesn't mean they aren't of a spiritual religion.

Does it say Christians Only? No. It's really quite simple. When you have an area strictly for Christians, and no one else, I promise you I won't come to it. How's that?
The category is Religion and Spirituality. There are no qualifiers, no disclaimers, no "Keep Out" signs. Why can't you people figure that out once and for all and shut up about it?

There is no "Christian area." There are categories that all are free to answer. This isn't Bible school for chrissakes. As you must know, even given your limited logical skills, the questions scroll down a continuous list. One doesn't have to go into a particular category to answer a question.

I am a Christian, but I have to agree with Paul S.'s answer. I don't assume that Religion and Spirituality necessarily means this is the Christian section of Answers.
Now to answer your question about why atheists come to this section, I believe that some are honestly seeking some kind of answers to their questions; others just want to stir up trouble and insult others whose beliefs are different than theirs. And yes, there are some so-called Christians who also come here to stir up trouble and insult others whose beliefs are different.

There is no Christian area of YA. It's the Religion and Spirituality section, and is not subdivided by religion. Atheists have as much right to be here as anyone else.

I'm still wondering at that post about what makes Christians go weak at the knees. I know the answer, but I just don't know why anybody would be silly enough to think Christians are the world's weakness!

There isn't a specific Christian area. Also if you go to the "all categories" section you can see all the questions asked without categorising them.

Maybe they are still searching for answers. They must be
interested in Christians to take the time to keep asking why
we believe in God. Are they thinking about changing? Perhaps they are looking to be convinced.

*Looks closely* I don't see "Christian" anywhere in the title. It says "Religion & Spirituality*... besides everyone has an opinion on this stuff. But I suggest that if you can't handle Atheists, that you immediately check out the people to which you are going to answer and avoid Atheists all together. That is, if you can't handle it. =)
