I have 2 mollies, 3 blood nose tetras, 2 small, gray fish with semi-long tails, 1 Albino cory, 1 small flounder, and 2 glo fish. I like buying fish and I just bought the Flounder today. Can I buy more fish? All of them are 2 inchs and under. Also, will the flounder eat the flake food I put in their?

It might eat the flakes, but it would much rather have bloodworms, brine shrimp, or other live frozen foods.

I'll caution you that these fish are not easy to keep. Although sold as "freshwater" they will do better in a brackish water aquarium. There are a couple of different species of soles sold under the name "freshwater flounder" and the care is basically similar for all, except for the amount of salt and temperature needed. They are found along the North American Atlantic and Gulf coasts, but some prefer cooler (75o) side of tropical tanks depending on where that species originates.

ADDITION: In answer to the added question, they probably won't eat those either. Flounder/sole are predatory fish that sift through the dediment to find worms and other burrowers to eat.

You should have no more than an inch of fish per gallon of water. Some full bodied fish, like Goldfish, require far more space than that. You need to calculate this on how many inches the fish will be when they are full grown. Overcrowding a tank is one of the biggest mistakes aquarium owners can make.

Nope, live foods only

Carnivorous, Start on live worms or small fishes and maybe small shrimp. Will not eat flake.

your aquarium will be overstocked when these things start growing.... mollies get about 3.5-4 inches glofish get 2.5 inches corys get 4 inches and the flounder gets pretty big... i would suggest looking for a larger aquarium before you loose all your fish. its one inch of adult sized fish per gallon of water... and the whole thing with they wont grow big in a small tank is crap... they will ... watch your levels in the tank.. the nitrates, nitrites and ammonia... with that much fish they could be skyrocketed.

Sounds like a pretty reasonable level to me. I certainly wouldn't add anything to it, but as long as you are very careful with water changes and keep it well filtered you should be ok.
