Get a lawyer, find out the bond amount and have the lawyer arrange a time for you to turn yourself in. Usually the police will just do a walk through booking and release. It's really pretty easy to arrange. Just make sure you have your bail all set before arriving.

Not to long ago my son was issued a bench warrant for not paying a speeding ticket. He had forgotten all about the ticket and didn't appear in court on the assigned date. When he was notified he called the courthouse where he would have gone and talked to a clerk. She told him what he would have to do and how much money it would take to clear up the matter. He took care of it and didn't have to go to jail. Nobody is looking to put you in jail if this bench warrant is over something small. Communication is the key. If you show maturity and a willingness to cooperate I am sure you can resolve this matter without jail time.

The bench warrant is actually an order to bring you before the bench, so SOMETIMES you can get "around" a bench warrant by arranging to appear in court. This would recall the warrant, and then the Judge can do whatever it is s/he wanted to do to or with you on the day you failed to appear.
Now, having said that, if the bench warrant is for child support or a criminal matter, the judge mayy want you to be arrested and processed through the jail, so that you will have to post a bond (which, for child support, is usually the amount of back spport you owe. )
Talk to a local attorney who is familiar with the judges, to see if simply appearing in court is an option.

I seriously doubt whether Pa will send you back to GA for a $300 warrant.
Bench warrants can be issued in a couple different varieties: National (for felonies only), regional (statewide), regional (adjacent counties), and regional (issuing county only).
For instance, I was recently picked up in my home county. A neighboring county had a warrant out for $145. Rather than pay a deputy to come get me, they dropped it.
Again, last year I was questioned about 220 miles away. Because my home county had a regional (adjacent counties) warrant out for me, they let me walk.
Like I say, THEY have to pay to get you back. And I don't think there's no way they will send two deputies salary plus mileage to go get you over 400 miles away, not to mention the hassle of filing extradition papers, for a measly $300

Go and pay the fine. See if that's enough. But do it in a.m. when the clerks office opens. You may not have to go to the police. But I would have someone go with me who can bail me out just in case. I was arrested outside raking leaves because I didn't pay a speeding ticket in Indiana. But when I went before the judge, she let me go on my recognizance (free) if I returned before 4pm and paid the clerk.

stay out of trouble if you are pulled over driving by the cops are you are a passenger in a car that is pulled over for any reason they can run a check on you discover the bench warrant and arrest you.my advice is to take care of the matter its probaly a unpaid ticket take care of it and keep your reciept handy you may need it .if its unpaid child support get off your butt and start paying it whatever it is you need to own up to it and take care of it so its not hanging over your head.good luck.

Talk to a lawyer. You may still end up in jail, though.
