As most of the regulars in the tattoo section of yahoo answers already knows we lost a giant in our field yesterday. For reasons beyond his control our friend and collegue Blair Watson will no longer be answering questions with us. He will be missed...... I hadn't been in the tattoo answer section of yahoo but a few days when I got my first off-line message from Blair....a simple "good answer man"......and it made my day. But that's the kind of guy Blair was.....quick to make friends, he always looked for the good in everybody. Blair also always made it clear that he was a husband and a dad first and foremost. He always had a smile on and I always looked forward to answering his quirky tattoo question of the day. Blair could be sarcastic at times but he was ALWAYS polite....even to those he disagreed with. He was a good example to all of us and I will miss reading his cheerful "show your tatts" tag line. From all your pals in the 12needleinjectiongroup.... You will be missed.

Blair, you made the tattoo category what is. From troll stomping, to the crazy questions that we would ask about outrageous tattoo and piercing practices (would you get tattooed with a rusty nail??). You were one of the first people that became my yahoo buddy, and we had so much in common, that it is sad to see you go.
I hope wherever you are, Blair, you are showin' those tatts!!!

Blair was short and to the point with people and his blunt sarcasm almost always made my day. He had a great attitude and spirit about him and his tag line is infamous. You could tell he was a good guy and good hearted as well. He was a huge part of this community and made it more interesting.
I'll still hope he returns, but if not, he will be missed. Hell, he's already missed!

Just this - Blair - my friend said that sea salt scrub is the best type of ointment to use after I get a tattoo. I should apply it 4 times a day with a ruff lofah and make sure to rubb all the dry skin off. Is this what you would recommend?
Blairs not gone - he left a little piece of himself with each of us.

Blair, What can I say? It was fun tag teaming some of the
ID 10 T's around here and some of your answers made me laugh so hard I cried.
And when you and Rider get going on some of these - well, hell - it's sometimes the only stuff worth reading.
I actually think your personality helped bring a lot of people out of their shells around here....

I'm sure he had a really good reason for dropping off the radar. He will be around in spirit, I'm sure. Looks like he made some good friends here. I'll bet he'll be back, shortly.

I don't understand why he doesnt want to get to know us better and be our friends. I can understand if he cant come on as much...but forever?
I don't feel like we got a good explanation of what is going on...not that he has to tell us but still....
I feel ripped off.
