I take it you prefer something with some sweetness. If not, the traditional martini (with gin)is the manliest drink ever. For a stylish twist, try a Vesper. This is the "James Bond" martini. It is a Vodka martini, shaken, not stirred with a twist of lemon peel.
If, as I guessed first, you want a drink that appears manly, but has the sweetness that wussy drinkers (much like myself) prefer, just go with a Jack and Coke, or, if you don't like whiskey, a Bacardi Gold and Coke. Go for the style points on the rum and coke by ordering a Cuba Libre. This is just a rum and Coke with a twist of lime. Happy drinking!

A manly drink common in the midwest is the blue mutherf----r. It has gin, rum, vodka, and blue curacco. If it's mixed right, it will only have a slight blue tint and not be full of ice. A good shot is the new york minute. It has 151 and baily's, and should be ignited by your bartender before he serves it to you. Of course any dark liquor and dark pop is pretty rugged too (bourbon especially).

Mixed drinks.....
Whiskey and water
Bourbon and water
Whiskey with a beer chaser
Bourbon with a beer chaser
Get the idea?
OK, true mixed drinks....Whiskey Sour, Martini (Gin, not Vodka)
Stay away from drinks served with umbrellas and fruit sticks.

a real guy orders what he likes and knows what's in it and how a lot. yet in case you insist on ingesting "manly" beverages, then take it previous style. i'm in elementary words 25 yet i drink sidecars or black russian or rob roy (that are considered an previous guy's drink) . yet in truth, immediately liquor is all you want.

I think I would go to another bar.
Usually men drink the ones that aren't filled with sugar.
Martini, scotch, most anything straight up.
As a guide, if it has a little umbrella in it, then watch out for the bikers at the bar. Sally

If you like whiskey, you could try a Manhattan which is pretty manly. Martinis are popular too if you like either vodka or gin - James Bond always ordered them and I don't think anyone would try to beat him up!

jameson press (presbyterian with jameson wiskey)
in fact any mixed drink with whiskey is okay, like whiskey sour, or whiskey and coke.
depending on the situation, a gin and tonic is usually acceptable, unless there are alot of cowboys in the room.
and if you really like dirty martinis, just ask for it "in a bucket" so that people wont know you got a martini

Let's see...Whiskey Sour, Mudslide, Manhattan, Martini (but not one of the foo-foo Martinis), Black Russian, Screwdriver, and you can usually get away with ordering a Margarita.
