i would suggest going to a local professional to have them check it out, as everyone`s body heals at a different rate...

Despite the rude and uninformed comments from some people, you are rather lucky, especially when you look at the location of the piercing. Even as a minor, some states and shops will pierce you with parents permission of course.

Cartilage piercings are very temperamental and take about 6-8 months to heal on average, but for some people it can take over a year. Expect your healing to be longer (9-12 months) because it was done with a gun. Be patient and as soon as you can, I would get rid of the piercing stud and get proper material and type of jewelry put in there.

Being a cartilage piercing, you're looking at about six months, if not longer. They take quite a while to heal. The fact you had it done with a gun will add to the healing time, because of the trauma done to your body. Piercings done with a needle heal faster.

I had my third lobe piercing put through a little bit of cartilage in my ear, and it took a good four months to heal.

No, the girl above is wrong. A tragus piercing is a cartilage piercing and should take up to 6 months to heal...but.......since you had it done with a gun that will essentially cause blunt force trauma to the body, you may be looking up to 9 months, and some of the soreness might never fully dissipate.
