People usually demand a beginning, so in the beginning there was a sea of spirit and it filled all of space. The spirit was static, content, and aware of itself. It was a giant resting on the bosom of its thought and contemplating what it is.
Then the spirit moved into action. It withdrew into itself until all of space was empty. In the center, the restless mind of the spirit shone. This was the beginning of the individuality of the spirit. This was what the spirit discovered itself to be when it awakened. This spirit was God.
God desired self-expression and desired companionship; therefore, God projected the cosmos and souls. The cosmos was built with music, arithmetic, geometry, harmony, system, and balance. The building blocks were all of the same material - the life essence. It was the power of God that changed the length of its wave and the rate of its vibration which created the patterns for multitudes of forms. This action resulted in the law of diversity which supplied endless patterns. God played on this law of diversity as a pianist plays on a piano - producing melodies and arranging them in a symphony.

Something to do, I'm sure. When you're the god of all the cosmos and beyond, you probably get bored all the time with everyone telling you you're right and all that.
So why not create a race of humans on a planet and give them just enough information about me to let some believe and some not? Then the ones that do at the end of their life, I'll let live up here with me in heaven and the ones that don't can end up in Hell!
Does this sound like a little kid playing with green Army men or what?

God does not exist. We evolved from an accidental combination of complex molecular structures that happened to form billions of years ago.
Of note, isn't this theory of evolution far more compelling and fascinating of an answer than to simply say we were placed here by some omnipotent being? Isn't it more amazing to think we are the ultimate by-product of this unbelievably long chain of events that has happened over billions of years and even more amazing to think that we are not alone and have brothers and sisters in other parts of the universe also wondering if other intelligent life is out there and what it may be like.

Because God wanted to create something in His image so He created humans. You can read about Adam and Eve in the book of Genesis in the Bible.

I'm a Catholic and I go to church on sundays almost every week. (9 out of 10 times I go) But I will have to say this;
God may have not created us directly; maybe another species somewhere in this universe was created in his image, and then we were just an experiment or bi-product of their biological test, and we are just being monitored.

Because he loved so much.He wanted to have children,just like any other being.The need to have something to love.Just to create the world and the universe would be empty without humans.Just the animals.So we're blessed to have an awsome God that thinks so much of us,his creation.

God did have perfect species, Adam and Eve, they were to live forever and prosper as long as they obeyed Him. Until Eve curiousity got the best for her and took from the tree of knowledge as well as Adam. Now they know of the sin of the world-temptation: sex, drugs, lust, kill, death, etc. Because of this God kicked them out of the Garden of Eden. To Him they were imperfect, like humans are now. Because they knew about sex add that with the reproduction organs given; you have humans.

I think we're here on earth as punishment - or as a mistake of effluvial randomness in the flux of big bang energy
I think humans are spiritual/elecromagnetic entities trapped within solids for the time being - either by randomness or as punishment by God

He created humans in His likeness and after His own Image to have divine fellowship but since man had fallen into sin, this separated mankind from God and in order to redeem mankind God had to send His Son Jesus to take the sin punishment, condemnation and death both physical and spiritual so that mankind could be set free from it power..
