You are really really young to be worrying about this. When I was your age, the more I tried to be what *I* thought the guys wanted me to be, I would do it, just so I would have a boyfriend. (but I didn't have sex until I was 16 and I regret that now because I didn't love the person I had sex with.) Having a *hot body* is not the whole point of having a boyfriend. It's good that you never swear and have good manners- those will help you when you get older and more mature. You're not doing anything wrong. You just need to concentrate on school, and do not make the mistake of chasing some guy, because believe me, that turns them off more than anything. It makes you look desperate, which you already sound like you are. Concentrate on school and sports activities and having fun with your friends. It sounds weird, but the less you obsess about having a boyfriend, the more attractive you will be to a guy. Guys hate desperate girls. Trust me on this one. I went through the same thing in high school.

You have a lot of time to find the right person. Don't rush it. If you are cute and attractive, it is only a matter of time until some guy notices and becomes interested.

Focus on you. Study, hang out with your friends, and be true to yourself. Nothing is more attractive than a strong, smart, self reliant young woman. Boys will come in time, make sure they are worthy of you.

You just asked this damn question. You have a lot of time left so stop complaining. 14 years hardly qualifies as a long time in life.
