Spirits which are the only things that can possibly ever make in to heaven (in spite of the recent lie of "rapture" or what men think it is about!,) and no flesh and blood could even survive there... so the very question is redundant... Our beloved dead ones will be "resurrected" or brought back to life in their perfect bodies here on the paradise earth and yes! we will recognize them... except for the fact that it might take my great-grand-mother and grand-mom a while to recognize me as they will look younger than me and they'll probably think that I look more like they did, than they do!!! but it won't take long to persuade them as I know stuff about our past no one else could tell them... etc. Anyhow, they surely won't complain about being so young and healthy!
Not to mention the fact that they won't try to push me into becoming a part of the false god's religion ever again... as this was the only thing we ever differed about...

You won't recognize them, nor will they you....Think about it...the bible talks about there being no sadness in Heaven....what if you get there and you're looking for someone you thought would be there, but they're not. Then you'd be sad. Plus our bodies are left on Earth, it's just our souls that go to heaven.

One does not see anything in heaven and one does not have looks.

Dear Ohio 1973,

I remember reading in the MacArthur Study Bible that after Yeshua was resurrected from the dead, according to Luke's account, the two Emmaus disciples did not recognize Him. But when Yeshua took bread, blessed and broke it and gave it to them; then their eyes were opened and they knew Him; and He vanished from their sight (v. 30-31). Although I do not agree with all commentaries, this one had a pretty good explanation. He states "They had sovereignly been kept from recognizing Him until this point. His resurrection body was glorified, and altered from its previous appearance and this surely explains why even Mary did not recognize Him at first."

I do not know if this helps, but hopefully it will.

Your sister-in-Yeshua,

Victory

No, because in heaven we will all have glorified bodies. Flesh and blood shall not inherit the kingdom, and the bible states that there will be no remembrance of the former things. If you go to hell, you will be tormented constantly and won't care. If you go to heaven, you will be too busy praising God!

If heaven is there they better be the age that they want to be. The happy parts of their life.

I hear they will look the best they have ever looked. For example if they had no limbs they will be made whole. They will have all their parts. If they were blind they will see. If they couldn't walk, they will walk. Isn't that wonderful? They will be in a glorified body. There are no flaws in heaven.

I believe that we are more of a spirit than anything. At least I hope so or else who is going to do my touch-ups on my hair when I'm in heaven?
