Jehovah's Witnesses both witness personally and bear witness to others regarding God's personal name, his majestic personality, and Kingdom purposes. In doing so, they align themselves with Jesus Christ and the prophets.
(Isaiah 43:10) “You are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah
(Isaiah 43:12) So you are my witnesses,” is the utterance of Jehovah, “and I am God.
(Hebrews 12:1-2) Because we have so great a cloud of [Jehovah's] witnesses surrounding us, let us also put off every weight and the sin that easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us, as we look intently at the Chief Agent and Perfecter of our faith, Jesus
(Revelation 1:5) Jesus Christ, “the Faithful Witness”
(Acts 5:38,39) Do not meddle with these men, but let them alone; (because, if this scheme or this work is from men, it will be overthrown; but if it is from God, YOU will not be able to overthrow them;) otherwise, You may perhaps be found fighters actually against God.”

My mother is a Jehovah's Witness. Basically they are witnesses of Jehovah's words in preaching the good news throughout the nation. The good news is that one day the world will come to an end and the people that follow God's words and commandments will be able to live in the everlasting life.

Rev.6:9...I saw underneath the altar the souls of those slaughtered because of the word of God and the witness work that they used to have.
Jesus said to make disciples of people of all nations, so the witness and testimony given is about the whole Bible.

"Do" Witness.
We witness the same thing that Jesus and his disciples witnessed. The good news of God's Kingdom. Jesus preached about how God's Kingdom would crush and put an end to all other governments. (Daniel 2:44) He also taught about the promises of God. Such as the hope of living forever on a paradise earth. The righteous will dwell on the earth. (Psalms 37:9-11)

I am not a Jehovah's Witness, but I think this is a stupid question. They are witnessing to others. In other words, preaching the good news.

We Witness, as in offering testimony to Jehovah's teachings. As far as what we have seen, many many things both good and bad. I saw a very violent young man, whose brother was shot to pieces, give up violence, and become a man of peace.

They *bear* witness to their belief, as in they tell you about it. They did not witness as in 'see something'.
I think this question is worth a drink.

in accordance to Psalms 80 3:18 "That the folk would understand, which you whose call is Jehovah, you on my own are maximum severe over all the Earth", Jehovah is the Almighty Himself. we are his Witnesses, in that we provide a witness approximately him. desire this permits.

Why don't you use the yellow pages and ask at the source.
Jehova is another name for God.
God's witness.
