They sure don't help. But I believe it's the Fanatics within all the different religions which actually give the religions a bad name. We take a lot of our views from the Media (including the internet - which, places like this, are poor places to try to gain knowledge of any religion - there's just too many nuts online)... our generalizations are usually based on the worst people within the religion and we try to apply that to everyone within that religion. It just doesn't work that way.

The fact that some religions prosyletize, and that this leads people to assume that ALL religions prosyletize, can be a bit annoying.
But I wouldn't say they give us a bad name.

No. It is the intolerant and prejudice people that do stupid things in the name of God that give religions a bad name.

To some of us religion is just a misspelled 4 letter word.
