Since cancer refers to over 200 separate types . . there is no one single cure for all. But there is treatment for all cancer through either surgery, chemotherapy, or radiation that may lead to individual cure.

Unfortunately there is no cure... at least none that are "legitimate". If I am diagnosed, I WILL try all of these quackery miracle cures. These naturopaths are in fact the type of people that found a large % of the medications we use today. I think some allopathic docs forget that aspirin comes from willow bark and that researchers find most treatments in rain forests and coral reefs.
I don't understand the hatred expressed towards un-conventional medicinal practices when the conventional ones are obviously not stepping up to the plate.

there is no one-size-fits-all cure for cancer. surgery, chemotherapy, radiation treatments, and prayer all can play a part in the remission of the cancer. some people eat a macrobiotic diet to help them regain health. lots of people are working very hard to find a cure.

Asking a question like this is to invite all the alternative treatment and religous miracle people out to peddle their "cure". With the wide variety of "treatments" with no proven efficacy, do you honest believe any of these work?
Cancer is not a curable disease. Remission is the word to be used. If a disease is cured, then there would be no need to periodically check for recurrence.
My personal belief is alternative treatments are fine with complementary therapy as long it does not interfere with conventional treatment. We know the rationale behind conventional treatments, side effects, effectiveness, dosage, metabolism, etc. Little if any of this is available for alternative treatments.

I think cancer should be treated by comprehensive approaches, not only rely on conventional way but also some traditional therapies. For example, Chinese medicine can be a useful complementary.

I don't know...but if you find out, let us all know.
As it stands now, cancer is incurable, beyond the existing treatments of surgical removal, chemo-therapy and radiation.
