I have been dating this guy for almost a month and I am really starting to fall for him. The problem is that his previous girlfriend was extremely controlling and would call him several times a day if he didn't answer the phone.
The other day I was buying a dress for Prom and called to ask him what color I should get. When he didn't answer I called again to make sure I got the right number. Finally I called a friend of his to see if he was okay. My boyfriend assures me I am nothing like his ex, but now he acts different when I call him.
How can I get him to see I was only worried about him and not being a controlling person?

Dont stress it, I can tell you dont want to come across as an overbarring, physco gf, and if he told you that your completly different forget it even happened.
It will pass over, just give him time getting used to talking on the phone and stuff.. wait for him to call you simple things like that should help you!

Worry is one thing, but it can be a fine line between worry and obsession, especially if you've only been dating a month. People are often not available to answer their phones, and have valid reasons not to........ so you're "worry" seems a bit extreme, especially since the only thing you wanted to discuss was a dress color. I say back off a bit and give him room to breathe- esp given his recent controlling ex. Excessive worry, while it's concern, IS controlling, if it makes a person uptight.

Next time you don't reach him by phone, call only twice and leave a message with the second call saying why you're calling and to call you back so that you know he's ok. He may have been too busy to answer your call or couldn't hear his phone. This lets him know that you called without being overwhelmed by phone calls from you.

girl tell him how u feel and if he tell u how he feels that means he loves u but if he just sits there and dont say nothin that means that he is gettin somethin that he wants and needs from another girl.
