I find the following visualization helpful: Stand or sit comfortably, and imagine white light streaming down on you from a point above your head (this energy could be sky-energy or Divine energy, for example, depending on your spiritual views, but whatever the case, it is clean and clear and cool, like fresh water). Feel the light running down through your body and into the earth, rinsing out negative energy and leaving you cleansed, energized, and refreshed. When you are ready, visualize the light above you fading away, to be called upon again when needed.

Fill a vat with cold water ( if you can put ice in it, so much better) and soak your feet in it for some 20 minutes. The effect is incredible.

You can also fill a bathtub with somewhat cool water and lie in it. Inhale and then lower your head inside ( undet the water)and exhale slowly under water. Do it some 10 times.Then just lie in it and relax ( with your heard above water, of course). It works great.

Generally, water sucks the negativity and fatigue right out of your body. Cold showers have some effect but the first two methods are the most effective.

Also, if you have energy, try and get involved in some activities where you help others. Talk to a beggar, a sick person, an elderly; give them some comfort, Help someone. It redirects the focus from 'me, me, me" to someone else's problems.

You should be Ok after all the above.

Several ways.. you can take a nice, hot bath with some sea salt in the water.. you can smudge using sage, cedar or pine, or you can meditate for a few minutes, and clear your mind, grounding out the negativity.

If you actually believe in a New Age concept like "negative energy" (as opposed to just calling it stress), then perhaps you should try dunking your head in cold water. For a really long time.

I prefer beer, but mostly only on fridays, on weekdays I go for a jog or punch a stranger, depending on how bad the day was.

I often wear an amulet used specifically to absorb negativity. Then, when I get home, I take it off and clean it.
